Death of the West 2of2: Frankfurt School, Cultural Marxism, Political Correctness

A video by the Free Congress Foundation. It should be noted that the agenda for the breakdown of western institutions, such as Christian values and the family unit, were not an exclusive of the Frankfurt School, or the radical communists. Nothing would be further from the truth since we find that these movements to radically alter society would never have succeeded in the West had they not been given, to this day, a free pass and billions of dollars worth in funding by the...über-capitalists. Via their massive foundations and institutions. It's well worth to go into the investigations by the Reece Congressional Committee, in the 1950s, where the investigators were told to their faces by high-ranking members of Ford, Rockefeller and Carnegie Endowment, that indeed they were funding radical communism in the West and would continue to do so. The final objective, as was stated then, was to lead the masses into welcoming a socialist system, where they would be highly impoverished, and their lives would ultimately be totally managed by the state; as the state would itself be run by oligopolies and investment banks, society would be turned into a regimented slave plantation, where people would work orderly for their masters. Hence, communism at the bottom, fascism at the top. The findings of that committee were confirmed by many other investigations and events and, ultimately, they're all around us now, for everyone to see. You'd have to be blind, not to notice that nowadays ...

Rep. Cooper: Elizabeth Warren Met with "Rudeness and Disrespect" at Oversight Committee

Congressman Jim Cooper (D-TN-5) speaks out against treatment he describes as "rudeness and disrespect" directed at Elizabeth Warren during a House Oversight and Government Reform committee hearing on July 14, 2011. It should be noted that Rep. Cooper voted against Dodd Frank, and is accurately described as a blue dog. This video was recorded live via the Committee Dashboard. mainstreetinsider.org Transcript (provided in part by PoliticalCorrection.org) COOPER: Thank you Mr Chairman, I don't have a question for the witness I do have a comment and primarily aimed at the junior members of the committee on both sides of the isle. I think all of us realize that this Congress is viewed as dysfunctional. And I would submit this Committee is also viewed as dysfunctional, and this alleged hearing is one of the reasons why. It too easily degenerates into a partisan food fight, and it doesn't have to be this way. In fact, just a few years ago in Congress, it was not this way. So I would urge the junior members of the committee to resist the partisan talking points that enable people on both sides of the aisle to walk in here, read a question, make a partisan hit, look like we're smart and then leave. That's not good governance regardless of which party's in charge. I didn't vote for Dodd-Frank. It had many good features; it had some less good features. But I do not want to be part of a committee, at least at the subcommittee level, that treated Miss Warren with more rudeness and ...

The Ivy League Colleges

Eight US colleges comprise the 'Ivy League' -- an elite group of private universities that enjoy a reputation for providing excellent education and attracting top students. It is interesting to note that the term 'ivy league' originally referred not to academics but to sports. The original Ivy League brought together not minds, but football teams. That said, these eight universities have some educational and institutional traits in common beyond their athletics programs. All are long-established, highly selective private universities; all are in the Northeastern US; all benefit from sizeable endowments and generous alumni financial support; all are highly selective -- and all provide need blind aid that often make them less expensive than in-state public colleges. Is an Ivy League school right for you? If so, which one?

HOw to GET in to LAW SCHOOL

notjustaniphone.blogspot.com I read this book when applying to law school and found it to have much of the same information I found in other guides. The trouble with this and other books like it is that they put too great an emphasis on softs which give applicants an unrealistic picture of the admissions process. Most of the decision is made based upon two things GPA and LSAT. Period. Essays and other softs are important at some schools. But the information this book contains on those points is better covered in other texts. I give it three stars because the information is useful, although also available elsewhere.
